She couldn’t help feel defensive as he stepped closer and closed some of the distance between them, yet she refused to back away or flinch from this stranger. His examination however didn’t do unnoticed. She didn’t retaliate even if she had wished to dig his eyes from their socket she took the chance to think and plan. She needed a plan if these games went to far but at least with her time in Iromar she had learned to think on her paws to survive and this stranger would be no different. She just hoped her abilities in reading others would be on point with the emotionless stranger.

His question however intrigued and cautioned her. ’Do you want to die for my benefit?’ He thought to highly of himself. She still wanted him in her games. He was a much stranger creature than she had know with Purge and Nakki. Still, she couldn’t help but notice the small change in his breathing, did it grab his interest as it had for the two fems she had known? Yet when she snapped at him he almost seemed displeased by her actions. Yes, he was a curious creature indeed. She had even more reason to keep this creature engaged she wanted to understand his mind and how he thought. What made this will so different from the mother she loved? Perhaps she would be given the ability to find out.

His reaction was quick even as she saw it and attempted to sidestep his frame she failed. She hadn’t underestimated his power but speed perhaps and yet it left her desiring more. The ache she felt in her ribs where enough to offer a buzz of delight she had gotten him to join, now to make it clear she hadn’t bitten off too much. Still, she didn’t want to let anyone play her game better than she could and him having so much control over the situation frustrated her to know end. She didn’t like to be placed between him and the rocks with escape narrowed. Yet it only gave her a challenge she needed to concur. As his moved to leading with his maw she ducked her head lower with mouth agape to grasp at his for-chest hoping to back him off any attempts at her scruff while providing him something to turn his attention to as she tried to swing herself back towards the way she came. Miss or not her desire was to drag this male back into the darkness she knew. It was her safety net and she wouldn’t be dragged away as though she where some child from her best asset.
