Molten ears twitched, swiveling on the black cranium of a wolf thought dead. The ebony tail flicked to the right, a paw scrapped the ground as she moved towards her goal. Her steps were uneven; left, right, pause, pause, right, left, pause, left, right. Crimson orbs were glued to the river in front of the mangy mutt. A pup tumbled by her, only earning a snarl and some muttered words. "Keep yer damn pups outta my way, or I'll tear her 'ead off." She was not in the mood for snuffling, snotty little brats. The femme prowled forward, nearly trampling a few pups underpaw. Once the smelly mass had made it to the water, she bent down, a bit of grace still left in her, to drink from the river. Her ears swiveled on their platforms constantly, she was ready to run at the first sign of danger. The water dripped down her chin, her tongue swiped away what water it could off her maw. She looked up, satiated for now, and glanced around the clearing to survey her homeland. "Eh, it's just as ratty as before. I don't know what I expected." Her back bent at an awkward angle, allowing her to clean off her pelt slightly. The 'ess was curious about if her reputation was still in tact. She was back, back to cause mayhem. Even if her current state screamed underdog, and not alpha dog.  |
