Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

truth is beautiful without doubt; but so are lies (ralph waldo emerson)

The way his moods swing back and forth might give Eris whiplash. If she was any other wolf. Yet there is something in her that matches the something in him; when he grows angry she only seems to desire it more, her eyes lighting with a fever pitch, and Enderly is struck by the action. His own excitement in moments where he was in Eris's place is just like hers. She is everything he did not want and yet everything he was. It was such an odd predicament in some ways for listening to her talk reminded him of Naamah and reminded him of himself. Oh Enderly knew what she did with her words. Twisting them in ways to make him respond in a manner she might find entertaining. Did he not do the same thing too? Press and press until he could see the breaking point of another, see the invisible lines drawn?

Hadn't Enderly decided he wanted the adoration of an innocent? Eris was anything BUT innocent. The way she uses her wiles, the way she grins down at him with rapt attention, it is as if the gods have placed a female version of himself here to torment him. Or maybe not to torment him. Then again as he looked up at her again he is struck with a powerful desire. Eris would be his, he decides, whether she knew it or not. In time she will come to understand such, he thinks, and perhaps he can weave such ideas into her slippery mind with his own games.

So shaking away the violent mood from only a few moments ago he narrows his silver eyes on her as she speaks. Ah, her prose, how lovely it is to his ears. Enderly is already half in love with her just for speaking the way she does. Everyone else was so uncouth. Abrupt and generally not worth listening to. They did not know how to use their mouth for anything but wastefulness. Words could be the creation or the ending of things - they were strong, stronger even than the physical might of a large body.

"I wonder what kind of fun a goddess likes." Yet Enderly has a sneaking suspicion that her idea of fun would match almost perfectly with his. His grin turns wily now, a mischievous glint to his eyes and his silver whiskers twitch. "I do not live here but everywhere, button. As for how long, well, long enough you could say. Long enough to know a bit about the world around you and some fun games to be had if only some secrets could be unveiled. Perhaps you'd like a game, goddess Eris. We shall trade in secrets and if you can find some good ones then we can help keep the other entertained."
