Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Fear filled the air that surrounded the unicorn. Her virgin scent was beginning to loosen from her and Tor knew what that would bring to her side. The sudden sound of footfalls crunching on leaves and twigs had her eaves prickling within moments. Her nares flared and her eyes searched desperately for a figure. She soon found it and her muscles tightened instinctively, sending yet another jolt of pain surging down her dislocated limb. And then... words. The first words that had ever been spoken to her by anyone besides her origin. Words she could barely comprehend. Lyrical values that were somewhat too great for her to distinguish all at one time. They captivated her. Fixated a golden bridle around her head and slipped a hand to her sweating neck. The tone offered comfort. It was whiskey to her wounds. Smooth yet somehow still terrifying.
It was a male. His cologne was strong and definitive for his gender. Amalthea watched with lilac gazers as he approached. One step came after another and suddenly he was too close. The doe struggled to stand and she winced visibly as she favored her right shoulder. But she kept her distance. Somehow she managed to move back, in a dangerously distorted sort of way, but effective all the same. What had he said? Something about her being hurt. But what else? Her eyes scanned from side to side. No good. Her escape exits were too far. And with her being in this shape, it would only injure her more to take them. She looked back to the demon before her and then lay back on the ground. Or rather, collapsed back down. It took all of her energy just to make sure she didn’t eat it any further than she already had. Maybe if she kept still he would go away. Apparently that was too much to ask for. Instead he took his time and approached once more. If the lady had not been hurt and paralyzed with her own fear, she would have been long gone, a ghost in his eyes. He would have been wondering if she had even been real at all. He spoke again and this time Amalthea stopped her breathing, trying to concentrate on his quoting. Still she only caught parts of it. My name’s Summer… you are okay… name? Happened? The ess tried to follow. She really did, but it was too much for her to take in, and she merely tried again to shut herself in as a clam does. Block a pearl against outside invaders that might be interested in its priceless and opalescent luster.

However it became clear that he obviously wasn’t going to go away if she just waited for him to. So she spoke. Which was crazy considering the fact that she hadn’t done so in a long while. Amalthea. Okay so it was just a single word. But it broke a record of silence that she had been holding dear to her for a long time. If this… Summer… was expecting anything else of her, he was going to get a nice hefty plate of disappointment. Amalthea was not one to ask for help, nor was she one to allow others close to her. Tears of fright clung to her eyes as pearls do to a ladies neck. She wanted to be anywhere but here. Oh what a kingly sight this must be to him. A creature who has neither been seen nor heard of since the disappearance of her nurse, at the mercy of a creature she does not even know the background of. A beauty unrivalled and untouched by the outside world. Naďve to the ill will of others, uneducated on the ways of the very world she was meant to be within. Lilac stargazers flew back to the silhouette of the male before dropping to the ground and closing tightly. She did not waver from the cold. It was his presence that had her shaking.
