More lake effect snow IP: 126.96.36.199 Posted on November 19, 2014 at 07:55:33 PM by T
The lake effect band has reformed over southern Ontario Canada Wednesday
evening. This band will shift east of Lake Erie and set up over the same
areas that were slammed with snow on Tuesday. Another 2 - 3 feet
is likely by Friday morning over Erie county just south of the city of Buffalo.
Lake Ontario will fire up some lake effect snow Thursday morning east
of the lake near Watertown and set up from Watertown to the Tug Hill.
2 - 3 feet of accumulation likely in this area as well.
By early Friday the winds will shift to the northwest. This will swing
the bands south. So a quick couple of inches will fall through
Oswego county and down into Onondaga county. Scattered lake effect snow
southeast of the lake throughout the day on Friday.
Quieting down for the weekend with temperatures moderating from upper 30s
on Saturday to upper 40s for Sunday. 50s are likely by Monday. Replies: There have been no replies.
