A request? His ear flickered towards Mortz in curiosity, though perhaps his eyes narrowed ever so slightly in contemplation for but a moment. It was a rare thing to have a request made by any other - it was not just an Alpha thing, no, but rather that wolves had seemingly never found him request-worthy. Whatever that meant. Nonetheless, he listened with intrigue and soon enough, a brow rose in amusement. Ceremony? He had never encountered any form of mateship ceremony. He supposed the closest he might have gotten had been in Iromar where the wolves tended to leave one another gifts of bloodshed as some kind of gift. Still, it did bring a gruff grin to his face as he nodded slowly, musing aloud.
"How unorthodox and yet, what a charming idea."
He wondered if having some kind of ceremony might have changed things between he and Caligula. It would have been nice to believe so but alas, perhaps even those kinds of things could not assure a future. What mattered was the severity of the words one spoke when they took a mate - Caligula and he had always been so natural, so perhaps his words had not been strong enough. It was a difficult thought to move away from and a minute or so passed in silence before he turned once more towards Mortz, meeting his gaze in order to regain his place in the conversation.
"If that is what you and Riopat desire than of course, I would be honored to aid you in whatever way I can. Do you require a messenger to be sent out? For this, I shall open our borders that day so that any guest you wish may come."
Would Mortz and Riopat call for others? He had lost touch with the who of Moladion and he had to admit, he had never taken Riopat to be an overtly social woman and yet, surely somebody as kind as her had friends - just as Mortz. Perhaps there time in Diveen would be good for them. There, they'd be able to interact with other groups of mates and expand their horizons - mateship was not always easy. You needed a firm circle of support at times. Tesseract had lacked that in his earlier years and he hoped nobody else needed to undergo the fear of losing one's own mate to creatures such as Tobias - to the darkness of curiosity. Whatever the case, he would be sure to make it as a grand a time as Mortz desired.
"We shall need to make preparations as soon as possible - a hunt, some gathering, it will be tiresome work. Are you prepared, Mortz?"
