You make a good point Eddie. Most organized bass fishing groups use the second weekend in March as the first date they fish. Let's face it, the March 8, 2014 Chowan tournament was a catastrophe. However, so was Mar 9, 2013 on NW River, where the total weight was 18.313 lbs. Mar 10, 2012, the NW gave up 50.75 lbs., and Mar 12, 2011 gave up 50.375 lbs. I don't think moving the tournament start date to one week later will help much. Let's face it, the weather is the key.
