Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Renegade
seven - loner - bound & loved by none

The lands had grown cold. Something that Renegade missed from his old home was the constant warmth, oppressive as it was, the sky was always blue and the sun was always out. Even at night when the temperature dropped the sand still held some of that warmth from the sun, no one was ever really too cold. But this... this was just horrible. The grey sky, the frigid air, the scent of winter on the wind, he had half a mind to go running back to his desert.

Though there was something more that tethered him to these lands, a brute that he couldn't get off of his mind. Istas, the peculiar white ghost of a wolf who had, despite all of Renegade's reservations, managed to capture his heart. 'Teaching someone how to love,' Renegade thought to himself with a snort. 'Whoulda thought?'

They didn't spend much time together outside of their meetings outside of Iromar, but every second he spent with the other just reaffirmed the feelings he'd had when they first met, even though at the time Istas hadn't really been himself. Perhaps they had been brought together by something bigger than them both, something that thought maybe they could help each other. Renegade didn't really believe in destiny but he had to admit, this was all a bit uncanny. He didn't care that a male's instead of a female's scent clung to his tri-colored fur, and in fact there was almost something he preferred about it.

Currently though he was far from his ghost, picking his way through forest on this dreadful morning. He wasn't aware that another had chosen to make his den here for the previous night, and so when the accusatory question reached his ears he was a bit surprised.

Renegade moved out of the bushes, his crimson eyes falling upon the form of someone much bigger than him. Everyone was bigger than him though, even girls, so it didn't really intimidate him anymore. "Lingerin'?" he questioned, his tail giving a wary wag. "Was just passin' through. No need to get all huffy."

oh, bless me Lord for I have sinned
it's been a lifetime since I last confessed
i threw my crutches in "The river of a shadow of doubt"
and I'll be dressed up in my Sunday best
