Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Why me? Why had I been chosen by the gods to lose my vision at an early age? I was still so young, only 5, and I was nearly half blind. My eyes were fogged, and black around the edges, blurred and hard to see out of in most lighting. I was reduced to scavaging and I was beginning to lose weight, although not much it was some. Today I had woken up worse than I had been, vision blurry and the black ring was growing thicker. The world I was seeing now was not the bright vivid world I was born into. It couldn't be, could it? I refused to believe this was happening.

My paws carried me in a slow, cautious mope through the crags, finding my footwork on each steady rock before advancing. I had to be careful, for if I slipped and fell it could be very bad for my predicament. I already couldn't do hardly anything for myself and I need no further injuries. Continuing on my way, slowly but surely, I found myself on a large stone platform that sloped towards a waterfall, and a few blurred smudges on a large cliff in the falls. Were they wolves? I thought so, so I made my way towards them, as a howl met my ears. I guess they were.

Reach in the circle they had formed, I took a seat a few meters away, a safe enough distance to get away if I needed too even with my disability. My pale grey and white fur shifted in the wind and my pale grey, fogged eyes scanned over what I could see of the wolves. Two females, one male. Interesting. I would wait until I was noticed, then I would speak.

because there is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean always kisses the shore; no matter how many times it is sent away...
