Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Their bond seems to rebound everything between them. In her own fury and the heat of the moment she had brought her own terror down upon the helpless creature and she could feel the way his body lights up at her own excitement. She can feel it deep inside of her and it flares her own primal beast onwards as she focuses upon her attack. Aithne knows when he wags his tail without even looking - she feels almost as if she could find him blindfolded. Track him in the middle of the ocean surrounded by nothing but waves, still she could find Praetor. As strange as this all is there is a surge within her, a declaration. Mine, it growls. It fills her up and demands that she make it known and maybe he can feel it in the bond. Maybe he can feel the way her pulse beats erratically and the way her every sense is attuned to him in the throes of this warriors passion.

As she bites down on the leg Aithne lifts her muzzle, the frenzy from a moment before fading into the background, and her eyes focus on his face. On that surprised look even while she complains about the crab. She is thoroughly disappointed in it. Vesper had spoken as if it was amazing. Worth all the damn hassle put into it. Yet the mirth from Praetor breaks her moment of unsatisfied craving and she narrows her eyes on him even as her body lightens in tune to their bond.

"What?" She says, blinking for a moment, trying to decide whether to be annoyed at his laughter or join in. She was not at all embarrassed by her problem. It stemmed from a lack of knowledge and Aithne would eagerly sponge in each tidbit he might give her so as he chuckled and began to tell her how to eat the crab she shuffled around to his side, the tips of their hairs rubbing together once more as she watched on, finding it hard not to lean into his side. His grin is.. charming. She feels a moment of alarm at her weakening defenses against him but what else could she do? The fates had given this to them and there was no removing it. She could have done much worse, she realizes, for Praetor has not been untoward. And secretly she craves this.

Compartments and shells, what a heck of a lot of work for such a small creature. It is almost too much work but she listens patiently before he offers her a bite. Aithne leans in, eying the slowly moving legs before scraping the soft meat with her teeth and swallowing. Her eyes widen as she glances at Praetor, turning her head so that her ears flick beneath his chin before she pulls back and lifts her head with a pleasant smile. "It is delicious! But an awful lot of work for it. I could take down an alligator quicker than dealing with this thing alone," she says, shooting the crab a glare before easing back into a smile once more, thrilled to have experienced it no matter what. "I met a wolf here before, Vesper. She told me of seals. I'd like to see one if I could," she speaks, giving more room for Praetor to take charge, more comfortable with his presence.
