Resting there was peaceful, for the time being, after all, it was time for him to go through all of those wretched thoughts that kept going through his head, trying to think about everything that may happen in the future. He stretched, his long limbs reaching out before him on the soft grass. His half gray half gold eyes turned from the water to the sky, its barely dawn sky was spreading slowly across the horizon, a soft glow lighting up the surrounding land, bringing it out of the shadows into the bright day. He finally stretched out, laying down on the dew covered grass, his head resting across outstretched legs, his eyes watching the day unfold before him. His dark russet tail curled against his body, the tip of it flicking once in a while, distracted by the world. He hadn’t really heard her until she got closer, her black body coming closer. She barked and he rose quickly, his split eyes paying close and attention to her as she moved. She was close to his size, a little bit smaller, yes. However there was something intiruging about her, in an carefree manner. “Having fun are we?” He smirked, a laugh-like glint in his eye.
