“Foals… yes… just wait till they’re yearlings,” Soljor shook his head. “That’s when the fun starts. At least with the girls. Hope you don’t get too many with an adventurous streak.” Harlequin and Stardust most certainly demonstrated just how conniving the female yearling could be. “I’m pretty sure Stardust plans on dragging Peyton out and about.”

He shook his head.

“I’m glad to hear the shoulder’s better,” He said. “You had me a bit worried there. I was starting to wonder if you’d fallen down a hole or something.” In truth, he’d smelled Magnus as had the fillies. So he knew the spotted boy was alive. “And how are your ladies? I’ve smelled some new ones, but only met Elexzra.” He certainly remembered the ill-tempered black arabian.

He hoped that had just been the pregnancy talking. Mares could be weird, but she had seemed a rough sort. Maybe it was just a breed trait? Cut up Angel had also been rough around the edges when he’d claimed her in the Commons all that time ago.
