She'd have to go to Diveen soon, that much she knew, but she was going to be damn sure to make sure she went in her own time - it didn't matter if Mortz, her supposed escort, wanted to go right now or not. After all, she had just gotten her sister back and she wanted to spend some more time with Sinclair before she went racing off. Sure, she wanted to learn but, well, couldn't she just do that in her own time? If she really focused, she was sure she could get most of what she needed to know learnt in less than a season. She'd always thought herself a quick learner. The mere insinuation that her father did not believe that to be true frustrated her to an extent, but she was quick to remember he had been a worrier since the beginning when it came to their family. They had to worry and that alone was enough motivation to keep her striving to learn and achieve. One part of that achievement, of course, was to be fit of body and not just of the mind. She had always been an energetic child and even now, moving into the depths of adulthood, she found herself cursed with endless energy. Most of her sleep came from short bouts throughout the day beneath the shade of a tall tree or in the clusters of thick grass; the night offered her a peaceful time to hunt and explore her senses. Even now with the coming of winter, she found herself ambling along the borders with her nose to the ground, absorbing all the new scents and sights. She could hear the faintest sounds of rodents beneath the snow in their dens; for some time, she stood idly by, slowing her breathing with her ears pointed towards the earth. Patience had been the first difficult lesson and though she was not hungry, it was a task in itself to keep her mind focused on that one sound for so long. Just when she thought she had perfected that skill, however, her ears suddenly twisted back in instinct as she heard the sound of paws to her left. She had been situated in the taller grass of Glorall that still managed to make itself known in the winter months and as such, remained somewhat hidden in the shadows as she slowly lifted her head to inspect whoever it might be. Their scent was not familiar at all and thus it was safe to assume they were from no particular pack either - but of course, that left even more questions than if they had been. "Are you just going to stay quiet? That's fine - I'm coming now." She had waited some moments before speaking, her voice clear and precise as she stepped forward, shaking her questions off with her. The faint light seemed to catch the red of her fur immediately; whereas her company was a shadow, Cersei seemed to be the missing color of the sunset just gone. It was hard enough to see the stranger as it were and so, Cersei made sure to approach from the opposite direction of the moon, allowing herself that small token of certainty. Strangers were still, well, strange really. As far as she was aware, she hadn't quite mastered the same level of perception as her siblings or father when it came to others. For now, she was content to merely observe with a crooked half-grin of intrigue, her head slightly tilted as she noted the dark girl. They must have been around the same age, after all.
