The boy had always taken a different viewpoint when it came to looking at his situation. Most would find where he was trapped discouraging or downright frightening, giving in to fear and doubt which would then no doubt hinder their ability to cope and escape from just such a situation. Hollowpoint always opted for blissful ignorance and the ability it gave him to step out from an otherwise perilous situation and turn it in to a game. Perhaps he was a bit mad at the end of the day, but he much preferred it this way no doubt. The concern on her face as he performed his daring, acrobatic feat was exactly what he had been hoping for. He was a bit of a show off, always enjoying when he could impress others even a stranger who he didn’t know in the slightest, but no doubt she would remember this day for a while to come. First impressions were so important, after all.

Her fit of laughter causes his already large smile to grow as he lolls on his back recovering from the burst of speed and agility the climb had demanded of him, he dearly loved the sound of laughter after all. “I pride myself on being so tenacious that my astounding lack of capability might not show through,” he said with a wink after her praise, two toned eyes flashing in joy and good nature while he rights himself. It was then that she starts to stand, slipping precariously on the ravines ledge before scrabbling and leaping out of the way and finding her footing. He releases a breath he hadn’t known he was holding and bites back another fit of laughter that might be deemed inappropriate.

Standing he hurries over towards her, circling her on light feet and jaunty gait to make sure she hadn’t harmed herself at all before coming to stand before her once more, humor is only good if no one is hurt in the end after all. Her comments wash all concern from his face and he lets out a barking laugh that is almost cut short as her wet nose pushes against the silky fur of his shoulder. His sister was so aloof and due to that and their wandering ways it wasn’t often he encountered nonchalant physical contact, but he had to admit he liked it. He recovered quickly, flashing that lopsided grin once more as she followed up with her name. “As yes, my lack of grace often has negative effects on others and for that I apologize, but you may find it brings a certain unpredictability to the world you may come to enjoy.” He winks to add a touch of mystery to his words before bowing in mock humility and saying, “I am Hollowpoint, klutz extraordinaire at your service.”
