Despite his constant vigil he doesn’t spot the approaching dark woman until she is almost upon him. He swivels on his rocky pedestal, eyebrows quirked in surprise. It was rare anyone was greeted with such brashness and lack of civility. He wasn’t offended, but it was certainly out of the norm for the Glorall he had left behind. Traveling tends to desensitize a wolf form the pack standards and his look of surprise is quickly replaced with a soft smile, head tilted to the side as always due to his useless left ear. His white muzzle opens to respond when stark white movement catches his eye. His azure gaze flicks up, heart thudding in his chest in disbelief and utter elation at what he sees. He had dared hope that Sin would remain her, he had always had his paws planted firmly in the sandy soil of their homeland, but doubt had still niggled at the back of his thoughts that his brother might have moved on.
Gracefully he leapt from his perch as his brothers truthful joking words find them. He responds with his own good natured laugh, the state of his fur a long lost battle. “You learn to pick and choose your battles, my appearance is not one you’re likely to win,” he says, white tail waving happily behind him. It had been far too long since he had laid eyes on his brother. He trots briskly around him, graceful movements as he takes in his brother adult form. He had grown surprisingly muscular for his small stature, the natural curves of his body accented by the toning beneath his fur and there is a pride in the way he walked that brought a smile to his masked face, stopping to face him once more as he continues on. His smile widened even as he addressed his original welcoming party, Octavia apparently but what struck him the most is Sin’s mentioning of his mate.
He was pleased to know his brother had found such a good life in their homeland, flourishing under the paws of those around them. Mater would be pleased with how at least one of them had turned out well. “Well lookit you, Glorall has been good to you it seems, frater” He couldn’t seem to stop smiling, being reconnected with your long lost family will do that I guess. “I’ve been a touch of everywhere it seems, I lost track of Mater some years back, I thought she might have showed back up here, but you know how she is,” he said with a shrug, though it was very possible Sin didn’t know. Ryker had only come to know her due to their constant traveling as a pup, she hadn’t been mother-of-the-year but it was something that she tried at all. “Quod hic igitur socio?” he said, slipping back in to their old tongue with an ease that surprised him. It felt good to be home.
