Kevin, they are both ladder series for Indy Car. If you're in touch with Davey Hamilton, he can probably put you in touch the guy runs them for Indycar. I think his name is Dan Anderson. They are rear engined formula cars just below the Indy Lights Series cars. The F-2000 series is the entry level to the ladder, Pro Mazda is the middle rung with Indy Lights being the top series just below Indycar. The F-2000 might be a little slow for Mansfield, but the Mazda series should put on a good show. And if these guys are going to move up the ladder, they need to race some ovals. And a half mile is a good place to start if you're going to be racing on miles and larger in the higher series.
