Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

.................Aiden.................

'Cause you don't really love me.

A nudge on Aiden’s shoulder had him reeling lightly on his oversized paws, but the boy only flashed Alcmene a friendly smile and let out a hearty chuckle at the gesture. He really wasn’t used to this kind of treatment – like he was someone’s equal for once. But, he could certainly get used to it. Only a few short days of freedom and the alabaster boy was already starting to get a feel for his right on this earth. It was a rather pleasant feeling, and the two pretty girls that smiling back at him were certainly making his day seem a lot brighter than before.

The lady in white spoke again, then, and her words couldn’t have made him more excited. Her ultimate pleasure? She had no idea how he felt right now, though either of the two girls might have noticed a particular swell in his chest. This whole “being accepted” thing was kind of a huge improvement from what he’d known back in his old home, and coming from two complete, beautiful stranger made it just that much more awesome. If this was what the wolves in this area were like, then his paws had certainly brought him to the right place.

Aiden looked to Alcmene for her say in the idea, only to see her tail waving in excitement as she reared up like a haughty buck. The energy about them was a contagious thing, and it only seemed to be growing the longer they were in each other’s company. The boy found himself bouncing on his front paws, half-hopping in place, and his white flag was a whirlwind of motion that nearly had him beating his own ribcage.

He looked from Alcmene to Ambrosia, then, only to find the tall, white wolf much closer than before. Aiden’s paws settled at the look she gave him – a look that seemed to be asking a question, and that confused him because he wasn’t any sort of mind reader. Slowly she moved even closer, and the boy found himself frozen stock still with a look of shock in his wide, dual-toned eyes. He could feel her muzzle grazing his shoulder, and he was almost certain she could feel the pounding of his heart as they came chest to chest. He dared not move while they touched, though he got a good nose-full of her fur that threw him into an uncontrollable fit of sneezing as she pulled away.

Despite the series of sneezes from his tickled nose, Aiden’s tail had regained its velocity, and there was a grin upon the boy’s face once more when the fit subsided and he looked up to see the girls sharing the same sort of gesture. Maybe it was some kind of local greeting or something? Wow… The wolves around here sure were friendly.

Alcmene’s encouragement had Aiden’s limbs all but shaking with anticipation, but he managed to hold his ground as she placed herself on his other side. It wouldn’t have been very gentlemanly to charge off into the woods and leave two ladies behind. With the dark, mottled gray girl at his side, though, the boy turned his eyes from her to Ambrosia.

“Alright, then!” Aiden said, taking a skipping step forward only to pause and check that the girls were indeed following. “Okay, so if we see anything particularly beautiful – I mean, besides you ladies – we have to let each other know so we can all see it. Okay?”
