At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

It was hard to bear being in the packlands. He did his best; face your demons to overcome them, right? But the knowledge that the most important person in his life was gone was killing him inside and the empty den he passed everyday was a constant reminder of his failure. He wandered in and out, preferring to spend his time plodding aimlessly about the land. He'd lost a purpose in life and there was no one to tell him a new one. He'd always wanted freedom to make his own agenda when he was a teen. Now, all he wanted was someone to instruct him.

The white warrior tried to give himself something to do: find an uncommon herb, track prey as far as he could, run. Running was his favorite. Things just seemed to melt away and blend into the blurred terrain. Both he and his uncle liked running, and Kahn had often given the boy obstacle courses to run on. But his mentor had never run for the reasons his protege did. Kahn faced down his devils. Ro ran away from them. He didn't want to. He wanted to be strong. He'd gotten better at it, but his childhood had seemingly programmed him into flight. Run from his problems at least. A physical enemy was of no problem, it was the psychological ones he couldn't deal with. So he ran to cope with them. And it took him far.

The boy ran for as long as he could, which was less than previously as he was still healing. He stopped for a drink and found himself in the first place he'd collapsed upon returning to Blossom. The lake was hardly his favorite place, but it was the closest location with water. He drank, the water chilled. Winter would be here soon.

The titan's mismatched eyes were treated to a strange sight was he rested briefly. A girl prancing in the sand, her laugh reaching his ears. She waded knee deep in the water and began playing. The warrior was bemused at the sight. Had she not seen such things before? She was a Kalak, something not found in Saw Tooth. He'd heard of another pack, Cold Summers, which was made up of many. The ruling family was an odd inbreeding of them, or so they said. But he'd never met one. Rodan's gaze followed her until she lay down in a patch of sun. He'd never been good at making friends. He wasn't particularly outgoing nor had he ever really had the urge. All of his friends were back home. Ro was funny enough when he was comfortable, though he did lack a certain warmth to him. It was worth a shot at least.

The ivory prince approached the maned woman. His face was expressionless due to his observance of stoicism (to the best of his ability), but he tried not to seem quite so cold and distant. He stopped a few feet away and cleared his throat softly.

"Hello, miss." He'd always been quite the conversationalist.
