Breeding

Where the magic happens...
Wanting your own adorable hoard of fluffy puppies? You’ve come to the right place!
In winter, parents post their stats (alongside any other relevant stats such as grandparents etc.) in the below format. Staff then roll dice to determine if you conceive. If you do (congratulations!), Staff will then roll some more dive and perform some magic in order to produce your puppy stats.
You can view how we do that magic right here!

Certain prizes, such as ‘Pick Your Own Litter Size’ and ‘Custom Stats’ must be used before Stats are posed, whereas ‘+1 Puppy’ can be used after. If in doubt, check with Staff!

Once Stats have been posted, players may post in response claiming and naming puppies. Once spring begins, the mother’s player must reply to the thread with a link to their ‘birthing post’ on the appropriate date unless an extension has been requested.

* post for both father/mother
Age:
Height / Weight:
Eye Color:
Body / Fur Type: (be detailed! long, short, thick, whispy, scruffy fur; brawny, willowy, wide set ears, a tail that’s a little crooked – everything helps!)
Fur Colour: (be specific with markings, and include references if you want!)
Other Stats (Optional): (for example, parents and grandparents; siblings; anything ‘cultural’ such as special markings in their bloodline etc)

** We include the option of grandparent / sibling / etc stats in order to help produce unique puppies even if a pair are plainer coloured. For example, two pure white parents don’t leave much room for exploration but with additional family stats, we can bring in new traits!

STATS
IP: 120.149.119.230

Due Date- January 9, 2015

Litter Size: 3

Pup 1
Female
Healthy

Eye color - Her eyes are just like her mother's, a truly deep royal blue that appears almost black in low light. However, there are thin striations of bright orange that come from the iris that create a unique depth.

Coat Color - Her base colour is a soft white colour, perhaps leaning more towards the cream side of the spectrum. However, the fur along her spine is tipped in pale sienna and black much like her father. Whereas the sienna stops over her rump, the black intensifies along her tail before ending in a thick black tip. Reference.

Coat Type - Her fur is on the shorter side though rather soft. Around her neck, it grows longer - about an inch longer than the rest - and is a little coarser and rougher to the touch. Her tail also has slightly longer, rougher fur.

Height/Weight- 40 inches / 157 lb s

Body Type - She is a superb blend on both parents though she leans towards her mother's slimmer frame. Her muscle is even and smooth which gives her a particular strength that her mother does not possess thanks to her father. She has her mother's long legs though they are sturdier, with much more 'kick' behind them. Thanks to her father, she will grow to be quite tall with strong features. She will be fast and strong.

Pup 2
Male
Healthy

Eye Color - Surprisingly, his eyes are dark green thanks to his mother. However, they have an intense burst of yellow that moves out from the pupil.

Coat Color - His base colour is a warm caramel colour taken from his father. His lower jaw, however, is white and extends down his throat and chest like a bib. His front paws are also white, fading about 3/4 up into the same caramel colour of his base. His ears, however, are a brighter orange shade. This shade is also found sporadically throughout his fur. Much of his neck, shoulders and rump are tipped in this shade. His back right foot is black. Reference.

Coat Type - Long and coarse just like his father. However, his undercoat is soft and woolly and gives him a larger, softer appearance in winter. For the most part, however, his fur is quite wild looking, lengthening into a pronounced mane around his neck.

Height / Weight - 39 inches / 205 lb s

Body Type - There is no denying this boy's size. He is tall and thickly built with a real powerful punch. Though he's quite a bit slower than, say, his sister, he certainly makes up for it with his devilish good looks and real 'pow.' He will be a heavy hitter with his father's face. Thanks to his shorter height, however, he is going to look much bigger than all of his siblings and father. His legs are average in length but thick with large, sturdy paws. Whereas his mother is built delicately, he is built like a fortress.

Pup 3
Female
Unhealthy - Distemper
SURVIVAL ROLL: Survival (Rolled a 1)
(Symptoms of distemper may include coughing, labored breathing, weight loss/difficulty gaining weight, vomitting; they may also include muscle spasms and sensitivity to stimuli. Distemper may last up to 4 weeks before improvement.

Some of the lasting symptoms of distemper survival can include issues with the teeth and hard-pad disease. In old age, survivors may also suffer progressive deterioration of mental abilities and motor skills. They may also suffer gradual blindness and seizures. You may also choose different symptoms, however, these are just a guide to real-life exmaples.

It will not be contagious to other wolves.)

Eye Color - This girl's eyes are strikingly unique. Like her mother's, they are a deep, deep blue hue. Throughout them, specks of emerald green, copper and purple appear - almost like glitter, really.

Coat Color - Her base colour is pure white just like her mother. However, her father refuses to be booted out. Beginning over her cheeks, a pale toffee colour sweeps up and over her head, laying across the top of her neck and shoulders in a cloak of sorts. It tapers out along her spine, fading away just before her tump. Her cheeks are partially white and a white 'blaze' works its way up between her eyes and onto her forehead. She has a black chin. Reference.

Coat Type - Soft to the touch but average length. It thickens and becomes a bit coarser around her neck and tail.

Height / Weight: 35 inches / 120 lbs

Body Type: Thanks to her illness, she will be smaller than her siblings and both parents. However, she will eventually fill out to be quite a well proportioned girl with long legs and smooth muscle. Her legs look just a little too long, particularly thanks to her shorter fur. She will be quick on her paws just like her mother and built quite delicately, too. Her features will be narrow and almost frail looking.

Mother's Health: 5/10
Thanks to the size of your pups, this birth will be long, painful and quite a challenge. The second pup will be especially difficult to get out and will cause a number of painful tears on the way out. It will be the third, however, that causes the most bleeding. You will be sore, tender and bruised for up to a month after the birth and may find it difficult to go on prolonged journeys. You will need a mate, imprint or pack to care for you for at least one week after.
