Things were starting to settle down in the meadow now that the king had come home. It turned out that much had happened in his absence and it was time to mark the boarders with his scent and make sure his pack and family were safe. After being taken away by rogue wolves, Iblis had come to the discovery that he was not as young as he once was. Though his mind was still as sharp as his fangs, his body was starting to wear down. Seventeen years had come and gone and soon Iblis needed to think about the future of his new pack. They would need a leader should anything happen to him which is why he had decided to make his queen, his beloved Rhae the head alpha. She was only four years younger but she had yet to gather the gray hair on her chin or the sore muscles on a cold winters morning.

With a groan, the alpha pulled himself out of the warmth of his den and stood in the morning light. A fresh layer of snow covered his home and he shook his thin fur to warm himself up. Born in a desert land far away, this king could never get used to the chill of the dead months. He longed for summer's heat. Even though the sun was up the world remained cool, much to his dismay. Oh well. He wasn't about to let it stop him from his duties and with a snort, Iblis took off towards the borders of his land. His first stop was the home of the Fantastic Four. Though the four brutes were not official members of Asteraia, they were loyal comrades and Iblis would protect them. He marked his land close to their den so any who might want to bring harm may think twice. Then he was off again, repeatedly marking his territory and keeping a watchful eye for any danger. Apparently, someone had already tried to trespass... Iblis would make sure that never happened again.

A few hours passed by when the call echoed across the land. Iblis' ears twitched as he recognized the howl as a summon. Without a second thought, the king bolted across the snow towards the wolfess. It didn't take long for him to reach her and as he slid to a stop before her, he bowed his head in greeting and paused a moment to catch his breath. "You must be Lady Fallacy. It is an honor to meet you at last. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Iblis. Have you been enjoying your stay here?" It was then, after looking at her, that the king realized her belly was beginning to swell and her scent had even changed slightly. Being a father of five meant her knew the signs of a pregnant wolfess. He smiled, "You have even given us the gift of new life in Asteraia! How can I ever repay you? Is there anything I can do to help make you more comfortable in these cold days?"
