There were a lot of things Torram had thought of when he'd first decided on a game of risk with that mountain of a god, Zed: missing limbs or organs, the loss of money or items, these were the things he'd considered - and decided he could accept - when he'd first dared to start the game. But he'd never, not in a million years, considered that the impact would be on Minerva and not himself. She stomped along after him rather ungracefully - the stilt-like legs she now wobbled on were quite different from her wings and talon-tipped feet from before - and kept her newly acquired ears pressed flat against her skull in an unmistakable sign of annoyance. Every now and then the newly-transformed okapi would extend her long neck to snap sharply at Torram, occasionally nipping skin along with his clothing. They were nearing home when she bit his rump just a tad too hard; she seemed quite pleased with the yelp this action received and attempted to strut smugly past the boy when those damnable legs became tangled, and she hit the ground with a rather loud thud. Momentary discomfort forgotten, Torram collapsed next to her, wiping away tears of mirth that only came faster as he watched Minerva - clearly trying to maintain at least a sliver of her dignity, and shooting dagger-sharp glares at him all the while - try to wobble her way back to a standing position.

"You... look..." he gasped out. She stomped on his shin, cutting off whatever he had planned to say as he let out another loud yelp. It was nearing midday, and most of the other commune residents were off at work or the academy, but their noisy encounter still managed to garner some curious looks from those who remained. On a normal day such attention would fluster him, but today... Well, today, he was just too busy laughing at his stuffy familiar to think about such things.

"I cannot believe you, Torram!" Minerva snapped, now dancing about in a clumsy attempt to further stomp him. It no doubt looked rather odd from an outside perspective, particularly considering how unusual okapis looked even when they weren't attempting to trample a laughing, lanky young man. "How could you bet with that... that... MOUNTAIN?!"

Torram rolled away from another attack, this one more half-hearted than the rest. Despite her outer aggravation, and the outraged tone of her voice (which bordered on a screech even her owl form would have found impressive), her lips were twitching a little, almost as if she couldn't help testing the expression out on her new face.

"I... told... you," Torram gasped out, clutching a stitch in his side as he fought to regain control. "I didn't think he'd do anything to you!"

"AND WHY NOT?! I'm part of you, aren't I?" Min snarled menacingly.

"Well... But I..." Torram answered lamely. He hadn't really considered that at all, Min was right. But to admit that... Well, he'd never hear the end of it! Torram looked around, desperate for someone to interrupt their conversation and provide a much needed distraction.
