Bandit’s Rage had been absent from the mountain for a time. It didn’t bother her to any degree. The fox knew where she had a home, and it was in Wind Gale. True, there was probably a new alpha by now, but the black and white vixen would return there eventually. Rage was most comfortable there of all the places she had lived. Even her dragon counterparts preferred the area. For all of that, the fox would return there. Until then, the dual colored vix was out at Traydon River. It was perfect for fishing, but this was not fishing weather. Her bottle brush tail twitched slightly as she trotted along. Definitely not the time for fishing, she confirmed as a coarse wind cut through her thick winter coat. Rage shivered slightly but continued on. No point in stopping now.

Her mis-matched red and green eyes scanned the area. There had to be something of interest. But all she continued to see were trees and snow, trees and snow. Rage snorted in mild irritation. Of course there was nothing around, it was winter. The fox’s tail flicked again before she stopped suddenly. It might not have been time for fish, but rabbits were always fair game. Her gaze locked onto the white rabbit. The little creature was near a tree, otherwise Rage might not have even noticed it. Very slowly, the fox began to creep forward. Startling it would only ruin her opportunistic hunt. The black and white vixen crouched low, continually easing towards her already wary prey.
