Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He was glad; he finally had taken his first steps toward his goal. Healer was to be his fist path, as tesseract had instructed. He could see the wisdom behind their leader's words; it made sense to learn to heal before learning to hurt. Now was the perfect time too, pups were on the way; this meant a lot of practice for him. He yet to meet the one that was to be teaching him though he knew she went by the name Riopat. He also knew a vague description of her looks but that was it.

He had risen with the sun in the frosty hours of the early morning, just because he had a path now was no reason to stop the personal training he's been doing since he came to Glorall; if anything it was more of reason to keep going, the faster he can get to the patients the better in his book.

His pale black and gray ears twitched as he heard a call, by this time the sun has risen higher into the sky. The howl was an invite for those who wished to learn healing; he quickly began to make his way over the sandy embankments towards its source. He finds her soon with relative ease. She was a pure white she-wolf with dark eyes of a color he had a hard time pin-pointing; she matched the description of Riopat. He slows his running to a mild trot as he approaches her. "Would it be fair to guess that you are Riopat?" He asks followed by an unsure pause. "It’s nice to meet you, I’m Sciathàn." He hoped he was right it would be quite embarrassing to mistake her for someone else.
