Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

MAGNUS
|| 5 Years || Heartless || Haunts Fjallraven’s Soul ||

Really he wasn’t sure what he was thinking. Helping her? This was going to be the biggest pain in the ass of his life. He was never an indulgent creature. He was probably the farthest from in fact. His mother never indulged him with anything but torture and he had no father essentially really their lives were sort of the same. Only he didn’t love his mother, or hate her, she was just… there. That was the end of that. Magnus just didn’t understand how a mother could let her child be so helpless all the time. Nearly an adult he would wager and she didn’t even know how to hunt! It made his stomach churn!

Soon as they were weaned which was as early as possible, his mother started making them do things she liked in order to feed them. Be it, catch a mouse or cricket or beat one another to the dirt until she said stop. Whatever it was or starve. Sure maybe Malina would spare them and sneak a little something in but most the time they were under there Mother’s eye. It was no wonder Alphonse left Moladion… Magnus would too if he just didn’ feel so damn compelled by fate or whatever to stay and now this runt sitting here tethering him further.

What a pain in the ass.

Whatever he had work to do. He let his nose work, silent as he attempted to find something for her to kill. A hare was preferable least it woudn’t be biting her back and she looked like she had some legs so she could run. Well with that paw… whatever! He would break all the hares legs before letting her kill it if he had to! Just give her something before sending her on her merry way home! Oh but she had to talk didn’t she? She couldn’t just take a leaf out of his book and keep her maw shut and perhaps ruin chances of finding something. But he did get something that he sorta wanted. Her name and surprisingly it wasn’t a good awful one, he might of even sort of liked it, but he wouldn’t tell her that. ”Magnus.” He grunted. That was all she wanted and needed right? His name? Hopefully it made her happy.

He stopped then spotting the hare as she did. Her whisper probably would have elicited a smack on the back of the head from his mother but he gave her a pointed glare instead. Shut up. It probably knew they were there and figured it was in a decent enough hiding spot that they would walk by. Hah, good luck with that. He moved his head motioning for her to stay where she laid on the ground. He had a plan she could catch her stupid food and he could get on with his life. He moved behind it, so it was caught between the two, arching around far enough before moving back in towards it.

‘She better catch it.’ He thought giving her a few more moments before banging he paws into the brush the rabbit was hiding in sending it in a feared frenzy away from him and towards her. He would give her a chance to catch it but if she messed up, god would be grumpy.

Look into my eyes;
It's where my demons hide.
