At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

The Perfect Place

(Aha, it's okay. I have been a little busy myself)

Whispering Shadows looked in the direction his mate was looking. He studied the tree, and slowly padded over, his ears pricked. He looked around and sniffed at the soft grass. Wolves had been to this spot before, but the scent was extremely stale. He turned, wagging his tail a little, pleased with his mate's choice.
"This place is perfect," he murmured, padding over and nuzzling Alisen. His black fur a shadow in the shade of the tree. He looked at Shadow and Sunny, watching them stand tall, and snorted softly in amusement.
If the pups did leave, Whispering Shadows would miss them deeply. Flicking his ears to dismiss the thought of life without the little group, he padded over to the tree, and wrapped himself around it, pressing close to the trunk. He marked the tree as his for the time, so no other wolves would come to settle here if all members of their little group went off.

Suddenly, a familiar scent hit his nose. He turned to see a group of wolves lounging in the shade of a large boulder nearby. His black nose twitched as he watch a white and brown she-wolf pad over to him. Her green eyes sparkled with joy at the sight of her brother.
"Swift, is that you?" Whispering Shadows asked, taking a step forward. He gazed at his sister, Swift Wind, had disappeared as soon as she learned to hunt. Being the only female litter, his brothers, Dark Moon,
Screeching Owl, and Black Stone, all bullied her. Since the genes in their family were massive males and small, lithe females, the female of the litters were small, but quick, and the males were large and strong.
"Yes, it is me." Swift murmured softly. She trotted over to her brother and touched noses with him, her green eyes sparking with love. Then, she slanted her ears back as her gaze fell on Alisen, Sunny, and Shadow. "Who are they?"
"Oh, this is my mate Alisen," Whispering Shadows explained, trotting over to his mate's side, then gestured with his snout to Sunny and Shadow. "And these are her younger siblings, Sunny and Shadow. Alisen, Sunny, Shadow, this is my sister Swift Wind. She is my only littermate that doesn't follow the rules our parents taught us, and left to be loners instead of joining their group of rogues."
He looked at Swift Wind, her eyes gazing approvingly at the group, and she nodded. "My mate, Centauri, is over by that rock." Swift WInd said, turning to look at a pure white wolf staring at them challengingly. The large male's eyes were locked on Whispering Shadows, but he wouldn't let Centauri bother him.
Swift Wind noticed the hostie look her mate was giving, and dipped her head. "Excuse me, I will go tell him you are simply my brother, and to make it better you already have a beautiful mate." she glanced at Alisen and the pups, before trotting off with her tail high.
Whispering Shadows looked at his mate curiously. "I am sorry if you don't really like her, Alisen. If not, we have been apart long enough. It won't bother us, we are used to being without each other." he said nervously. He wasn't lying, he would of course be fine without being with his sister. Although they had the best bond with his sister out of his siblings, the bond wasn't very strong.
