Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I fell in love with a shooting star

starfall.. .

He cannot help but grin at her reply, his damp tail coming to rest at his side and yet the tip giving way to a slight thump of a wag. Perspective was always an interesting thing, another abstract concept that gets lost within the realm of vocal words. He wondered and pondered if he could only directly infuse his mind with another, if communication would be so much easier, and yet, such a thing was not yet discovered to be possible.

"Ah, but would the one who experienced heartbreak feel their love more intensely? Does the first experiences not add more to the second?" he dares to question, a playful devil's grin edging onto his naturally dark and handsome features. Sure, he did also enjoy playing the role of devil's advocate, challenging concepts for the sake of it, but he also found it to be an accurate description of life. The more experience and knowledge, the more he could appreciate the contrasts of the world. Love and hate, pain and pleasure, only enhanced by knowledge.

"As much as at times I dislike the cold, I find that I need to explore it from time to time, to be aware of all the experiences that are out there, we are only here for so long, hm?" he mused, lifting a brow curiously towards the smaller girl as he let his sparkling opal eyes fall upon her. She held many marks upon her, and he figured she had many experiences of her own to tell. He never found such a thing ugly- only a new story to be told, a rich history to explore.

He did lend his ears to her, and he explored her story with her. The life of a wanderer, something he knew little about, an experience perhaps he should engage in one day. It appears that the wanderer encountered her fate here in Moladion, a place riddled with intertwined destines. He dilemma was not a new one to Moladion. He knew of imprints since birth. His mother and father were imprints, and for them, there were no others. He knew of his Aunt Isola though, who took a mate over her imprint, who was torn by the death of her imprint Finley. Although he only heard the stories of it, he knew many aspects of the imprint bond, despite not having it himself. He does wiggle an ear at the word can't, that she cannot love both, and perhaps he was simply ignorant or driven to be that devil's advocate once more.

"Can't? Or Won't? Perhaps you are perfectly capable of loving both, is it simply that they, or you, won't accept you loving another?" he questioned, both eyes turning to look upon her and take in her expressions. Monogamous relationships were the norm, but they certainly were not a requirement. He knew if three wolves agreed, they could all be romantically involved. It was not something widely practiced, and it was likely that jealously was the flaw that got in the way of love, a love that may be flowing into two instead of one.

"Ah, Church. I am called Starfall, the Star Gazer of Taviora. It is a pleasure to meet you, and I apologize if I do challenge your situation- sometimes a different perspective can open eyes- or strengthen what you already know and may be doubting," he stated, before scoffing a bit at himself. "I am perhaps not at all qualified on the subject of love and souls, but I'd like to be one day,: he mused with a grin. "In the end, the fates will guide you to where you are supposed to be. My parents are of the imprint bond, and they have no other. Azrael and Andromeda are well know in the pack of Diveen for their imprint bond, in stark contrast to Azrael's sister the Queen Isola, who chose her mate over her soul. It appears it can either way for you, Church, but the choice will always come to you, and I hope that it will be one that feels right and does not bring you anguish," he says with sincerity. He has seen how love can hurt, and already, he liked Church's company. He never wished for pain upon others, and even if they just met, he wanted her to simply be happy with the choice she felt she had to make.
