"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

IZAYAH

The pale colt took a step back as Skylar glanced back towards him. He had learned he needed to be quick on the hooves to ensure he wasn’t too close. Alibi had never let him stay close unless he was nursing. As Skylar turned towards him he took a few more steps backwards. His ears were pricked forward, eyes curiously watching her every move. He returned her smile with one of his own. He relaxed when it was clear she wasn’t going to drive him away from her. He retraced his steps he had just taken. “Izayah.” The colt listened and nodded in reply. Shelter would be nice for the growing boy.

He paused for a moment, looking back to the spot where his mother had disappeared at. There was sadness in his eyes. He couldn’t understand what he had done to be treated the way he was. The call sent out by Skylar pulled him from his thoughts. He turned his attention back to her and took off at a trot to close the distance between the two quickly. At least someone was giving him some attention and with that his attitude seemed to improve. Once in the thicket of trees the wind was noticeably slowed down. His mother never really said much to him so starting a conversation or even continuing one was a bit difficult for now. He didn’t say anything, however he did move closer to Skylar, much closer than he ever stood next to his mother.
