Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Perfection is a Disease

He had changed. Even a horse as blind to the emotions of others, like herself could see that. He was no longer comforting, loving, throwing compliments in her direction. He no longer cared. He got what he wanted, and now he will give her to whomever meets his demands. She was nothing but a trading piece in Mikhail’s game.

The fact that the orders were not directly from him, meant nothing to her, he may as well have spat the words at him herself.

As he stepped forward she leapt back, scared stiff at the idea of him being anywhere near her. Her father was right, nothing ever came good of defected creatures. Father was always right. ”You lied Mikhail” the words choked out, like a little child having a tantrum. She was beyond consoling, nothing he said or did would change how she felt. His words fell on completely deaf ears. She didn’t even hear what he said, shaking her head from side to side, body still shivering in shock ”No…. No Mikhail”. Her breathing was heavy and her voice shook in time with her body. She wanted him to stop talking, before she was again wrapped up in the words that were him.

She stepped back further. She wanted to turn, to run. She wanted to be anywhere but here. She would never admit it, but she had been completely charmed by Mikhail. His lies had hurt her, and she knew of only one way to hurt him back.

No more Mikhail she thought.

I will make a new thread where we can continue for the moment when mikhail finds out <33
