It was this day that I had found myself well upon the other side of my lands when the call of another had come my form turned to lope with gentle ease towards the cry of another and yet the scents upon the air assure myself that indeed, my Kane and my Calliel have first reached this wolf and my own pace is given to slow to a stride most graceful and easy upon the earth. If it is my Kane has greeted he whom calls then I am seeing no need to rush this day, for it is that my mate is given all the powers of myself to deal with such matters and my time was taken this morning to wander towards them. Perhaps this was to be the first of my mistakes this day, for it was only upon the final words of the white wolf whom rested at my borders that I was given to hear, my own ears held forward and head and tail raised on greeting of this creature and in display of rank that was my own, my form given to brush against my Calliel before it was I came to rest beside the darkened pelt of my mate this day, the violet of my gaze resting upon the other as he spoke and a frown was given to makr my features most delicate. I do not…understand these words he speaks, his words accented as often my own are given to be and yet spoken in a manner as such that I struggle to perceive what is said. It would seem he has found…displeasure in Spirane and Taviora, the brother and sister packs to my own and et upon his words I am uncertain, the packs of forest and mountain hold no disrespect for those deserving more, children my own reside upon these lands and for years most long Diveen has walked beside them, to hear of such things is displeasing to my mind.

Perhaps it is so, perhaps he had been unwelcomed within these lands and indeed in this moment I am grateful for the presence of my Kane- for the words that part the lips of the other seem only to bring further discord to my thoughts. To take over pack? To bring warriors? To come against mountain and forest whom for so long have allied to myself. Perhaps it is I have merely misheard the words of he before me, for indeed my mind struggles to perceive what is unclearly spoken and yet…for to long perhaps I have thought what is best of others, have tried only to see that which is good within even they whom oppose myself and over and over such kindness has been left to waver and wane, such kindness has been used as threat against myself or by those whom would seek to bring harm to my lands. Diveen has tasted war before and upon the victory of my pack I had made my choice that day- that never again would Diveen be brought to war. I waited a moment still until it was his words had grown quiet, my form given to step forward, pelt of white and red aglow within the sun this day as my own head dipped in greeting for he whom rested before me.

“Is is being Isola, Alpha of Diveen. Is seeing you have met my Kane, my mate and King and daughter my own, my Calliel.”

I simply paused once more, given to gesture to each in turn as my head and tail stayed lifted still in display of my rank and right this day. Perhaps it is merely the touch of instinct upon myself and yet I choose merely to display this before him now, to assure it is understood in this moment that it is I whom rules this pack, I, daughter of Heyel and mate of Kane, not he whom has come to my lands with words of war.

“Perhaps it is I is misunderstanding these things you say and if this is being so then please tell me as such. Yet it is seeming to me that you is asking to bring warriors to my lands, to command them, so that you may be moving against Taviora and Spirane. Is this being so?”

I waited this day, ears held forward, to hear the words part his lips once more though indeed within my mind this day I felt little save for a confusion most great, head tilted slightly to one side in some effort to better perceive he whom stood before me as my gaze returned indeed to my Kane, for surely he had heard more that which was said- attention returned at last to the white one before us.

“Diveen is allied to both forest and mountain, for a time most long we have been friends and Diveen will not break this promise, the wolves of forest and mountain are brothers to our own. My pack is tasting war before and I will not lead it to war again, nor will any other. If it is war you seek, Diveen will not take part nor allow your warriors upon our lands, I is being sorry, but this is being my decision. Diveen will not assist you in this and I is not allowing your…command of what is mine alone to be commanding.”

Perhaps I am known most well for my benevolence and yet it would seem too that I have become known to stand before those whom would seek to take what is mine and prove indeed why it is I have ruled so long with my Kane beside me.
