For several moments still the often misunderstood male of copper and gold continues to allow his strange black eyes to rest upon the mottled creature before him, pleased to see that despite his daring to rest paws inside lands to which he had been uninvited that the older wolf at least seemed sensible enough to maintain his submission before the muscular male whose own posture remained stiff for the moment. It is the mention of the males name- Lamb, that so seems to end this rigidity however, Pan given to scowl noticeably now before his head merely tilts in some clear indication of curiosity. Names have forever been of extreme interest to the boy, the study of nomenclature an area of great fascination to the male and yet this particular moniker, one thusly unheard until this moment has seemingly ensnared his attention entirely.

“Lamb? Does this name hold some sort of culture significance to your bloodline? Otherwise I cannot imagine why your parents would chose to have befit you with such a title. Is it truly your name, given at birth, or merely what you prefer to be called?”

Lamb, after all, at least to Pan is a perfectly ridiculous name of which there seems to be few justifiable reasons to explain and as such that every hungry mind seems determined to seek an answer to this bizarre calling. After all, names were given for a reason, they held a meaning, a story, his own a representation of his sire’s feud with the Angel King Heyel, Heyel named for the Angel of the wild and all things untamed, Indus having taken such chagrin at being run from his lands by the Angel Army that he had rather spiteful sought to name his own heir and son- Pan, the God of the Wild, for surely God is a step above Angel, is it not? Thus the story of his own calling and indeed the mystery behind the moniker of the creature before him. His thoughts remain upon this line of consideration until Lamb seeks to answer the questions posed before him, the wanderer speaking of his desire for a permanent home.

“Spirane would have place for you, of that I am assured, we have long been friendly to those whom call themselves gypsy- though I find I require you to at least tell me what you have to offer our pack before I permit you residence here. As for your attempts to learn about the packs of Moladion I am entirely unsurprised your methods failed in that regard. Research is best conducted through scientific means with correct planning rather then attempts to sit beneath trees and gleam information from those too far away to truly hear or see and I find your experimentation flawed at best. If you desire to know of the packs of our land I am in possession of a working knowledge of each of them and would gladly share this information if you merely state which of the packs you require to learn of, each has pros and cons to be weighed upon and I can present an unbiased argument.”

Truly it is only his need for air that seems to halt this tirade of words once more, jaws at last falling silently as he simply continues to stare at the male before.
