Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The brute stood tall when he made the call for his pack, maw tipping to the sky asking all the lupines of Bright Moon and anyone nearby looking for a home to come and join him. It felt strange to be standing up where he was, calling a pack meeting instead of responding to one, but it did not feel wrong. After speaking with Darcia, Summer knew that he was ready for whatever was to come with this pack. After a moment the smoky brute sat down, wrapping his plume around his paws as he waited to see who would arrive first. His yellow orbs scanned the nearby tree line, looking for the form of one of the pack members to appear. The brute did not know if the others in the pack knew of the shift in power that had occurred in Bright Moon, or if it would a surprise to all of them when they heard his vocals calling them instead of the more familiar ones of Darcia. He discovered that rumors and news traveled quickly within these lands so he would not be surprised if one or two of them knew about it. He was not sure if Darcia had told anyone of his plans to leave Bright Moon, he was sure that he must have told his interesting friend Iason, and once one lupine was aware of something like this the news was bound to spread. Summer wondered if Iason would ever show up sporadically in the packlands again or if he would also disappear with Darcia. The latter of the two seemed more likely to the brute, but he would always welcome Iason in the packlands again if he ever wished to visit.

The alpha’s thoughts were interrupted by the appearance of the first lupine. The familiar white form of Misty appeared and a grin appeared on Summer’s features. She was one of the first lupines he had interacted with when he joined Bright Moon, the two of them sent as ambassadors to SawTooth those many moons ago. "Hello, Summer. Long time, no see. Things have changed around here." The brujo leapt down from the boulder he had been perched on to approach the femme, rubbing his pelt along her frame in greeting. ”It’s been a long time Misty. Yes things have changed.” he spoke with a chuckle. ”How have you been, my friend? We need to make some time to catch up.”

The brute turned his head when he heard the approach of another lupine, the dark form of Danger appearing through the trees. Summer smiled, even though he knew the blind brute would not be able to see it. He was glad to see that Danger had made it to the meeting, knowing the anxieties that plagued the brute, but yet he had still come out to Summer’s call. “What’s going on, boss?” he spoke to the direction that Summer was in. ”Hello Danger, thank you for coming. The meeting will start soon, but how have you been?” He did not touch this brute, as he had done with Misty, not because he had anything against the brute but because he did not want to make him uncomfortable, even though Summer knew Danger was more anxious around females than males.

Summer spoke to the two wolves that had already arrived before a third wolf made an appearance. The usual submissive stance was familiar and the alpha recognized Scion. The other brute seemed stressed as he stood in the background, emerald orbs looking from one lupine to the next as he stood silently and tensely. ”Hello Scion. I hope you are well.” Summer greeted the other brujo in a friendly way, hoping he would relax at least a little bit. The smoky titan waited a few more minutes before deciding to get the meeting underway. If others joined they would still be welcome of course, but he wanted to speak to the ones that had already answered his call. He turned back to the boulder that Darcia had so often spoken to them from and jumped up to stand above them again. Not because he felt he was better than the lupines that had gathered, he knew that was far from the truth, but he still wanted there to be a formal feel to the pack meeting. His yellow orbs paused at each wolf once more before speaking, ”Thank you all for joining, your presence is greatly appreciated. In case anyone has not noticed, Darcia is no longer with us. He felt the need to move on from this pack for personal reasons, not because of anything that anyone here did. He asked me to take over for him, and I gladly accepted. We spoke in depth and are both confident the pack will continue to grow from here. In case anyone has doubts of my abilities I grew up under an alpha, learning from the moment I could walk the proper way to protect and lead a pack, so I can confidently say that I will be able to take care of everyone here.” He paused for a moment, not wanting to seem cocky but to let them know that they truly would be taken care of and safe under his rule.

”Now, onto ranks. I would like to thank you all for coming by giving each of you a rank. I am not going to have anyone hold the rank of beta at the moment, hopefully soon someone will rise to that position.” His yellow orbs shifted to the only female in the group. ”Misty. You have been loyal to Bright Moon for longer than I have been here and I have seen how much of an asset you are to this pack. I would like you to take the position of Gamma female.” His gaze then went to Danger, even though he would not know his attention was now focused on the blind brute. Before he spoke he continued to look over at Scion. Both the brutes were newer to the pack and he knew they had not had much time to show how important they would be to this pack, but he still felt they deserved a rank. ”Danger, Scion. I would like the two of you to share the rank of Iota male. I know you two have much potential for this pack and with time I see you both going up in ranks. Now that we have ranks taken care of I would like us to reach out to some of the other packs, specifically Cold Summers and Saw Tooth. Misty and I traveled to Saw Tooth a long time ago and I know they are friendly there. Would anyone be willing to travel to either pack to extend pleasantries and offer an alliance?” He waited patiently to see if any of the lupines would step up, or perhaps if anyone else would show up to the meeting late.

OOC: I’m sorry it took forever for me to respond to this! I promise to be much better in the future for you lovely beings
