He still feels his rage simmering beneath the surface, boiling through his veins and making his skin feel like it's on fire. His ears pin against his nape and his nostrils flare in annoyance. He must tell father what has happened. He knows the painted stallion will be disappointed in him; how could he have been so foolish, letting her out of his sights? He will definitely be reprimanded for his mistakes, and certainly given a harsh lecture - of these things he is certain. But he knows he can gain some wisdom and insight from this upcoming encounter. He will use the information, the knowledge, that his father gives him, and put it to the test with the next trinket he brings into their home. At least with the next one, he will know better than to let her wander off unattended.

Then again, in a way, Mikhail is glad she is gone. She would have brought trouble with her; a pretty, young filly like herself could never stay loyal. He should have left her there in the Commons where he first saw her. Let her become someone else's problem. But no, his stupid, hormone-driven mind had urged him to go forth and claim her, smuggle her in and hope no one noticed or cared. Of course that didn't happen. Father had placed a price on her head, and the moment Kochanie had heard his words, he knew she would cause trouble. And he had been right; she had gone and fucked some stranger, getting herself knocked up. Although the bay colt was too young himself to breed, he still felt disgusted and, frankly, betrayed by her actions. He had given her a home, and she had repaid his kindness by getting pregnant by another man? As he stands here reflecting on it, he thinks perhaps it is best she was taken away. At least now, he wouldn't be responsible for her and the child growing inside her.

Muttering something to himself, Mikhail glares down at his reflection in a pool of murky water at his hooves. The silence that surrounds him is broken as he shifts himself, mud squelching beneath him. He doesn't send out a call for his sire just yet; he figures he will run into him eventually, anyways. Besides, he doesn't feel like dealing with his father's wrath. Not at this particular moment, at least. He will give it some time, and then go to face him, and hope he doesn't get torn down too harshly.
