The wolf that finds him is Demon in appearance but hardly in nature. Curiosity has him looking her up and down, wondering what a wolf could want, what a wolf could possibly find among the Demons, but, to each their own, of course. Cae is not a judgemental soul, regardless of his sire's hate for the Demons, he does not share in such things. He had been born in the swamps and while he did not wish much to live there, he did not mind being there as most wolves probably did. The muggy and thick swamps were not for all souls, really. A select few could thrive and actually enjoy it here.

When the mostly black wolf speeks, he gives a simple shake of his skull before words flow forth. He is eloquent in his speech, and while his tones hold the barest trace of femininity, he is still a young male in all of his prime. "No, the Mountains do not call for training now. They call instead for a gathering, if Iromar would have them." He has stated his purpose and the reasoning for his visit- and if the wolf asked him to elaborate, he would. And if she were to decide to just bring him into the packland after just that, he would also oblige. For while the swamp was indeed a dangerous place, Cae belonged to the Mountains and the moors and their neighbors to the North held a treaty in which none could be harmed. At least, that was the agreement, but Demons weren't always renowned for their promises kept. In fact, out of any wolf, a Demon should and perhaps would be the one to break such a thing. But again, the earth toned wolf is confident in his actions and where he stands, both with the Mountain and with the swamps. His gaze is not a hard one as his mismatched irises find her own, both green though one with a ring of red. It is intruiging, this marr of colouring and it reminds him of his own siblings. But their combintions are brown and blue where hers are red and green. Heritage was an interesting thing, and as she was no Demon, he found himself wondering about her. Who was she, where had she come from, and why did she live with the Demons?

He wanted to ask, and perhaps he would- but not now. Now was the time for business, and, perhaps, after all was said and done he might spend some time within the swamps out of his own want. If only to satisfy his curiosity, for truly, to him at least, such a feeling was one to be cherished. Ever so slowly, Cae was learning himself better and better, and allowed himself to reach out that much further and further. Only hope was that it did not get him hurt too bad.
