PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

The Battlemaiden

RAGNFRIDR.

That very same burst of wind whipped up and splashed into her face. Her own dark forelock whipped about and fell motionless against her face once more. With it, came a sense of freedom and rejuvenation...as well as his scent. As quickly as the mare drank in his scent, she hotly snort it out and her emerald gaze found him. For a moment, she watches him quietly. It were as like she spotted a ghost and she was uncertain.

A rising tide of rage boiled within her and the mare lifted one of her inky feet and pawed at the stone face she stood on. The sound of hoof and stone that collided against one another echoed throughout the peaks and the battle maiden turned away. For a brief moment, she slipped out of view, though her movement was still quite audible. Suddenly, the pace in which she moved became obvious, and like a bat out of hell the mare rounded a sharp corner and barreled down hill at him!

Small pebbles and stones did not simply just roll in her wake, they literally flew amidst the gray dust that kicked up behind her. Her tail was lifted and flagged, the tattered ends whipped behind her in tattered tethers, like matted ribbons. She came upon the spotted stallion with the same fury she had not too long ago. She threw on the breaks from her charge, and her hooves skid powerfully along the semi-flat mountain face they stood on. She used the leverage of such powerful movement to hoist herself up onto her back feet and rise upright. Every muscle on her battered form rippled and pulsed against her buckskin coat. Her mane crashed forward against her strong well-muscled neck and then whipped back behind her in a wild display.

She brought her black front feet up and threw them forward for Bondurant. In her mind, there was no use for pleasantries; as far as she was concerned, he was weak and he would remain so. At least, until he proved otherwise.

...and there was only one language that the battle maiden spoke, let alone even attempted to accept from her peers.
