Octavia would wait for the ay the suitors came, and she’d relish in shooting them all down. Not that the girl wouldn’t give one a chance if he gave her a real run for her money, but… nah. It didn’t sound like as much fun, having to settle with just one. Octavia would rather make her way around, breaking hearts when it suited her to. Sure, she’d take a break from it and curl up with someone… maybe. Maybe for a bit. Couldn’t say no to having a boyfriend here or there, of course not. Boys are cute, after all. Some of them are even borderline attractive, but she won’t explore those feelings right now. Young and wild and free. That was what made all the difference in the world. The girl watches Tristan with something in her eye, a glint and a glimmer. She’d bring this one into something she’d call a friend, not that she didn’t already. They’d known each other since they were kids, and awesome kids together to boot. They were fun when they were little, and he’d probably still be fun now if she gave him that sort of time. Right, it was probably best to give someone the time of day. That was the way Octavia’s head worked, anyway. Her tail wagged, laughing softly. “Oh, you know, pretty in your average boy next door sort of way, finally growing into your overly large ears and funny nose.” But Octavia is messing with him now, and it shines through in the way her eyes glint and glimmer. It’s a silly sort of teasing, gentle, the kind that you get dished when you’ve known a girl for basically your entire life. Things with Tristan were… different. Different, and yet in the way that everything should be like this. Interactions like this were… weird. Tav liked it. Liked it a lot.
