Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

In her eyes, he was totally oblivious. In fact, he seemed almost like prey in a sense - she was sure she'd not only surprise him but also land her mark. After all, she had certainly been honing her skills in light of meeting her father. He was a proud warrior, see, and thus she hoped to not only live up to that expectation but also to exceed it. Warrior, assassin and the Hand to the King... she had a lot to live up to, so she'd do her best today to at least start living up to what she imagined to be Judas' expectations. What they were, she didn't know. All she knew was that for now, she wanted to show him how sneaky and fast she had become. She had not even stopped to think that the gulls might have been on his side after all this time.

The race to success was off and though his eyes seemed to land on her, she did not stop. Instead, a shrill, short burst of laughter left her lips as she leaped for him, nipping the tender flesh of his ear with a grand enthusiasm. His yelp did little phase her for she knew it within herself that she'd never really hurt him. It was all just fun, though she was sure to maintain her distance when he bounded after her, unwilling to give her own ear to him. She did, however, give him that self-satisfied smirk, straightening her posture and puffing up almost proudly. Her brow, however, rose questioningly, a quiet hmph muffled under her breath.

"Well, it's a good thing you aren't a gull then, isn't it?" She teased, her lip twisting up into a devious grin as she crept forward, tilting her head up to inspect his face all the better. "Why don't you show me how if you're so good?"

She lowered her head then, following suite and falling into a more playful posture, her tail waving consistently behind her in readiness. She wouldn't mind watching him - not really - because she had to be honest to herself; he was better than her at it all.

"Or you scared to lose to a girl?"

She jested once more, feigning forward with a playful nip before another short burst of cackle-like laughter ripped from her chest. Let the games begin!
