It was an interesting notion that Rage’s heterochromia was genetic, but most never really put the two together since she denied everything about her lineage. This however, was far more interesting than her bloodline or heritage. Rage was having fun with this little game of chase. Occasionally, she would glance over her shoulder to ensure he still followed in the thick snow. Suddenly, the vixen changed direction, bolting to her right. It would put her right out of his reach with his intent to tackle, and perhaps even give him a mouthful of snow.

“You’ll have to do better than that!” she laughed, having set the rabbit down for a moment and turning to face the vampiric fox. Her tail twitched as she looked prepared to snatch up her kill and bolt once again. But if Cedric ended up with a mouthful of snow as she planned, there would be no need to keep running. That in and of itself would be good for a laugh.

Rage crouched, her muscles tensed for a sudden quick burst of movement. There was no indication of her direction or what she might have intended to do. Bandit’s Rage knew her next action was directly related to what the vampire did next. The black and white vixen shifted slightly on her front paws, a playful smile still on her face. Just her facial expression was teasing. Such was the slyness in a fox’s nature, and this one was no different. It was simply a matter of how you played the game.
