Espilon watched the beautiful she-wolf as she settled down for the night. As soon as she smiled at him, he pushed his way through and settled down beside her, resting his narrow muzzle on his paws. His ears twitched and he looked out the gap in the tree as the she-wolf's breath slowed as she fell into sleep.
He snorted softly, and the closed his eyes, glad to have a companion with him during his travels.

Pale light shone done on Espilon's white muzzle. He twitched, then his eyes fluttered open. He turned to see the she-wolf was still asleep. He nuzzled her face gently to rise her, and looked down at her wagging his tail. "It is time to go." he said, padding out of their little one night den.
When the sunlight hit his pelt, he arched his back in a stretch and gave a big yawn. He then shook out his pelt, letting the warm sunlight warm him up. He turned to make sure the she-wolf was following him, and wagged his tail to see her.
