Total species count (35) and number of birds this year (2370) were both slightly down from last year.
There were no new species recorded for the count and no species high totals set this year.
The best birds were an Eastern Towhee and a Green-winged Teal duck. One Snowy Owl was recorded for the count and 2 Belted Kingfishers.
Nine field observers and 6 feeder watchers were about normal from other years even with the prediction of bad weather on the day of the count. A big thank you to members of the Carden Field Naturalists. Tom Wilson for data input.
