Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Return to Lunar Children

I SOLD MY SOUL & died in the dark children/tobias

Massive jowls are spread in a wide yawn as I laze atop a small plateau in the crags. It is no view that you can capture from Spirane and yet it is a sight all my own.

The emotions have settled from my recent skirmish with Lucian over a particular harlot and without a second thought to the matter I am now soon to bear his offspring again. Our offspring. I will not let it go unsaid that I play a very important part in these children just as I had with the previous litter. I dare him to speak of any other female capable of producing such strong, striking, and well-developed pups from his seed. The peaceful expression that was once upon my features now burned with begrudging memories of the recent betrayal.

With suddenness in my motion I rose to obsidian paws and barked out a command for my family to heed. A coldness washed over my eyes and I fell back into what was so characteristic of myself. "Let's go. We're going to see your uncle." My voice resounds without falter and the tone foretells of no willingness to accept any other option. Golden flecked eyes move from one whelp to another before beginning to descend the rocky hillside and head in the direction of the fields.

I was aware of Tobias' likeness to the fields and the abundance that they could bring; so it was here that I had chosen to bring them to finally meet him and perhaps his offspring as well. He had always been the one constant thing in my life as I grew up from my unstable childhood and now as we were aging adults it seems that our lives have set us apart by a good margin. Today I planned to change all of that.

Large paws kept at a steady pace as one ear flicked back to ensure my progeny were following dutifully. Lucian could or could not come for all that I cared. Although I now swelled each day with the growing children of our carnal deed, I still harbored a sore spot for what he had done, and the hormones weren't doing it any good.

At the speed of which were were traveling, we ate up the earth and were soon within the limits of Tobias' reach upon the fields. I led my group toward the sandy shores of the lake for refreshment in the warmth of the spring day and scoured the land for sight of the black devil. When my eyes did not pick up a trace of him I lifted my muzzle to the sky and made a short call for his attendance to our little meet. Many would call me a fool for bringing my own blood to meet the one feared most by mothers of Moladion and yet I did not hold fear nor anger toward the male. He did his part in guiding me just as much as anyone else who cared had done and for that I had always seen him as a brother.
