It had been a strange day so far since the girls were not up to their usual mischievous antics. They didn't even go off on their own like they always did; instead choosing to stick close to Soda. Eventually the pale woman grew tired of her two watchful shadows, chasing them off with a snap of her teeth. Usually that wouldn't faze the girls, but in Soda's current state they knew better than to stay and argue with her.

"Let's go after Grai," Alethi didn't wait to hear anything that came from Naomi's mouth, already racing on ahead. The dark filly gave a huff, following after her niece at a much slower pace. The stallion never went too far away and after a few minutes of searching the girls found him atop the rocks. Alethi spurred on fast, and Naomi fought to keep up.

Before Alethi could go surging past the chestnut, and possibly injuring herself, Naomi grasped a bit of her tail in her mouth, coming to a sliding stop while also jerking the other girl back. Alethi gave a squeal, turning and facing Naomi with laid back ears. For a moment Grai was forgotten as Alethi stared Naomi down, who looked back at the dun with wide eyes. Her ears were somewhat laid back, unsure if she should soothe her bad tempered companion or make a run for it.

Naomi took a step back as Alethi took a step forward. The dun filly always had a short temper, something Naomi tended to forget.
