Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

my winter song to you

my winter song to you

She lay there in the morning sun whimpering and crying out for anyone to come and find her. Her blue gray eyes welling up with tears. She wanted anyone to keep her from being lonely. Who knows just how long she was alone for in that cave or even once she made it outside. All she knew was that it was a cold and aching feeling. Like she longed for a warm and reassuring touch. And much to her surprise it does in fact come.

A cold nose presses to her side and a kind voice echoes in those tiny, black rimmed ears of hers. “Hey, friend… commere, we’re going to be okay.” and instictively she perks up just a bit. A tongue runs across her tiny face and she looks up at the brown wolf standing above her. Without any hesitation at all, she crawls a bit closer and lets out a few excited yips. Driven by the want to be near someone so warm. She honestly couldn't remember if this was someone from her pack or not. All she knew was that someone was here now.

The voice once more echoes in her tiny ears. “Commere friend… we’re… we’re going to go see Aunt Alice, she’ll take care of us.” It sounds so distant, but it's really right there. Her ears still needed to pop just a tiny bit more. And her vision would clear once the tears stopped welling up. All she knew was that this wolf standing over her said Aunt so that must mean they are family. So there was no struggle from her at all once the brown female had reached down to pick her up by her scruff. “She takes in strays like you and me.” She lets her body go limp and simply goes along for the ride. Her tiny tail wagging happily as the rocky world begins to pass her by.

She wasn't sure where they were going or why she was left alone. All she knew was that someone came back for her, or so she thinks. But it didn't matter. After all, being this young, she would forget about it all within a few hours. All she would know from now on is the warmth and comfort of being around family again.
