Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

How did he do this to her? Promise that he would not leave her again and then disappear, did he go to see Vega? Is this where he went when he left her? While she had felt the Imprint bond once, she never would have left Mortz if she had known he loved her. Depression crept up on her like a frosted hand ready to catch a fly, and it settled heavily in her chest as she stared out to her island. Tesseract had informed her that there was a wolf stuck out there, the channel had grown too treacherous in the rainy winter, there was no way to rescue her just yet. She could not be concerned with what would never be, rescuing the female would take time and patience to figure out, and while she had no way of getting there, maybe she could find some more herbs this season to help in any way she could.

It was the note that broke her concentration as she track down stores for her new - and very temporary - den, so that she might continue to do her work as long as she could. It would be difficult to go through everything by herself, has been difficult, but she ignores the pain she feels and hides it all away as she rushes along to help her pack. Her head snaps up as the piercing notes of a wolf in dire trouble escape a male jaw, her head tilted to the side, confusion and maybe a little dislike of the sound coming through. It sounded like Rogue with a male voice, not that the Beta had a very feminine voice, but still the notes were almost identical. And, equally off key. She ran first to her den in the dunes, grabbing her seal bladder bag, stuffing anything she might need to aid the wolf who sang such a sorrowful and panicked song. With her wide sides and uneven, though somehow still graceful strides, Riopat dashed toward the area the song had come from.

When she arrived, the blood trail into the den alarmed her, and she looks to the russet hooded male, her dark eyes wide and worried already. Setting the seal pouch down, Riopat speaks in direct and 'I'm in charge here' tones, "What happened? Where are you hurt?" She sees no other wolf, and does not hear one, so she searches the male with her eyes to see what is bleeding on him so badly. Her heart hammers in her chest, the pups shifting as if they too feel the urgency of the situation, and she looks over the male over and over again. He did not seem to be so injured that he need call as if he were dying, hopefully he gave an explanation soon.
