Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Dark! Dark!

Such is the nature of evil. Out there in the vast ignorance of the world it festers and spreads. A shadow that grows in the dark. A sleepless malice as black as the oncoming wall of night. So it ever was. So will it always be. In time all foul things come forth.

Something was coming.

In the depths of his bones he felt it even as the shadows inside of him crept insidiously through each organ, tainting his lungs with a hint of smoke and blackening his heart with each foul touch. He often felt it within him. As if another presence had taken up space in the small cavity of his chest, another presence that would scrap claws against his bones and prick each tiny vein before making itself known as it crowded his head, blackening silver eyes so it, too, could look out into the world. It felt primeval, a thing as old as time and as vast as space, unwilling to shed itself from his figure. And Underidge didn't want it to. He felt powerful, he felt alive, he felt like a god.

Someone was coming.

Even as she crept closer and closer he knew that someone was coming to him. His silver ears tipped backwards as his tapered muzzle angles in the direction from which Sarabi appears. First the silver tipped muzzle, followed by the obsidian body and blue-silver eyes that seemed almost to match his own except for the extra shade.

She has grown into herself except she was still smaller then him. It was fitting for he was above all, above even her, yet she had never failed in her belief of him. In all this time he knew she was still out there and that her thoughts often bent towards him. She was the one infallible thing in his life and the one most missed, if one could say Underidge missed anything. Sarabi was his - she has been his since birth. His need to possess things, it was a driving force, and the thing within him twisted in his gut.

His lips raised in an answering snarl to her own, silent, and he stalked towards her. There is no hesitance or pause. Each step is brimming with control and confidence as he quickly bridges their distance and his maw reaches out, jaws opening. If she stands still Underidge will bite her on her neck, the fleshy part, hard enough to leave puncture wounds. It is not an attack. It is a claiming. A reminder to them both of his devotion to her and hers to him.

Then he will press his cheek into hers, silvery eye meeting blue-silver eye as raspy vocals meet the air in the same discordance as his howl. "I have always been here, sister."
