Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

LIGHT OF A FADING STAR IS WHAT YOU ARE

The trek from the Commons to the edge of the Lagoon had been nice. Mikhail had been quiet for the most part, occasionally questioning her but she always kept her answers ambiguous and pleasant, there was no need to burden him, or anyone for that matter, with her past. That was what they had told her and she was doing her best to follow on the path they had sent her on. So far she was right on track. Though Mikhail was a bit younger than what they had said would come, he was a male and he lived in a land. And he was taking her there. What would happen there she did not know, but Neve was beginning to get an inkling that something was off about it. But that was not her place to question.

As they reached the borders of what Neve assumed was the Lagoon, she could smell what he described. It was strange, different, and was a bit thick. But nothing she couldn’t get used to in time. She flicked her pale tail against her hocks and blinked at him with hazel eyes. But his question caught her off guard, and for a brief second confusion flashed in her eyes. She was not to be asked questions, she was to just do. She plastered a smile on her face and glanced at the land and turned her attention back to Mikhail.

“I will follow you wherever you take me.” She replied, stepping forward so that she was in line with him, her hazel eye regarding him carefully. The flicker of impending doom flashed in her mind, but Neve ignored it. If he was leading her to her demise, well, so be it. There wasn’t much to destroy anyways. She was just another pretty face. Easily replaced.
