Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It was rather beautiful, this new land that the she-wolf roamed. The hills of the grassland pack had hidden the fact that a rather extraordinary bay lay within their land. The forests had intrigued her, but she quickly discerned their depths were claimed by a different pack, and so moved on to find wild trees. For a night and a day, Quetza roamed the land of Moladion, taking in the sights and the way the landscapes varied. When she found the deep dark forests of the wilds, she instantly swooned. Love found its way into those mismatched blue eyes of hers, and she dove into the tree line like a dehydrated fish into water. With so much brush, the Spanish woman could not deny her want to run, and she broke into a full on gallop as she streaked through the forest. She leaped over logs and dashed through bushes, she stirred what leaves there were on the ground, and made the needles of the trees rise.

It was excellent fun, and she ran like this for a long time, her heart pounding in her chest, and her lungs burning for air. Muscles grew tired and hot, and the woman was forced to slow as she tired. It was nothing short of exhilarating, and she enjoyed her little romp through the woods, but now, as she looked around, she wished for company. Roaming around as her muscles twitched and cooled beneath her multihued pelt, Quetza searched for any sign of intelligent life, hoping to come across someone who read body language well, as she could not speak the tongue of these foreigners.

It was later in the day, when the sun was going down, that she finally spotted a lone dark wolf. Letting out a bark, the lone woman alerted the other wolf that she was coming. Her tail waved behind her as she approached, maintaining a respectful distance from him, and she smiled politely at him. "Hola, soy Quetzalcoatl o Quetza." She stated simply and slowly so that he might at least understand that she was introducing herself. She needed friends to help her learn the common tongue, but she needed to understand the common tongue to get friends. What a horrid cycle to be stuck in.
