Laca opens new jai-alai and sports museum Posted on January 19, 2015 at 08:37:07 AM by Jeff "Laca" Conway
Laca opened his new 1400 square foot jai-alai and sports museum before a "soft-opening" crowd of about 20 people Saturday night at his new house in Seminole.
Jai-alai players that attended included Eric 28, George, Thomas, Kullster, and Rule. Three players had confirmed but did not show included Julio, Chip and Javy. Players and other guests were also given a tour of the new amateur court to be built in the front yard.
Everybody had positive reviews of the place. Photos of the museum and details in a new story that will be released tomorrow.
A poker tournament was played later in the evening with Rule the winner. In later action - that went past 1am in the morning, the "house" with Laca as the dealer in blackjack action came up the big winner for the first time in 3 years. Replies: There have been no replies.
