I continued to squirm around in the grass, blissfully unaware of my surroundings as per usual. However it seemed as though my thinking of Hollowpoint had summoned him to me, and it wasn't long until his scent drifted across my muzzle. It was familiar and welcome, and a shy smile tugged at my lips for a small moment before I smelt something else, something... wrong. I flicked my ears as he approached, rolling lazily onto my side, though concern was etched upon my features. My dark eyes caught sight of his limp, and perhaps it was love or anger but something flared inside of me when I saw that he was hurt. I stood up, his form towering over me even as he sat down.

I couldn't help my gaze from narrowing as he spoke, seeming to just... avoid the fact that he was favoring his paw and smelt of blood and spit. I wasn't angry at him, but rather displeased with the situation in general; both that he was hurt and my instinctual reaction to it. "You're hurt." I said, the obvious observation giving me a small comfort, my tail giving a slight flick. I closed the gap between us, ducking my head down to sniff at his injured leg, but I was no healer. "Are you okay?" I fretted, pulling my head back up to look at him in the eyes.

"Should I call for someone? Maybe..." I trailed off, trying to think. Swallowbane, my brother, could help, maybe. I didn't know him very well, but I doubted he'd be adverse to helping. My voice was high-pitched with nervousness, so uncharacteristic of myself. I was usually aloof, distant, but something about this brought me back down to earth. Someone had hurt my imprint, and for some reason that affected me on a deeper level than I thought possible. Would Hollow feel the same, I wondered, if it were me? I couldn't keep my thoughts in one place as I stared at him, my eyes a strange mixture of concern and anger.

"Who... who did this to you?" I asked suddenly, trying to still my nerves. I had a right to know, surely, who had hurt my soul and my best friend.
