Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Return to Lunar Children

THE PATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS MAN;
IP: 108.69.203.48

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
Fate was such a strange thing. At one point Vincent had thought such a thing trite at best, but now... now he was beginning to see why people trusted fate so much. He gave a slow wag of his tail as she seemed to open up more, sharing her thoughts with him. There was something intimate about just talking to her, and it was strange to think something like that. Most thought of intimacy of a purely carnal thing, but Vincent was beginning to see that it was much more than that-in fact, there was really nothing physical about the connection he felt to Spirit. They hadn't even touched, yet Vince felt as though he would rather die than be away from her.

He listened as she spoke of how she had thought of joining a pack. The brute wondered if it would be too forward to ask her to come to Asteraia, and it took a great deal of restraint to not ask her right then and there. Vincent gave a small chuckle at her last statement, though his eyes displayed sympathy. He couldn't be too sentimental, after all. "Yea, we've all got those." he said, and it couldn't be more true. Everyone's got something, whether it be a small problem or a huge one.

Vincent nodded as she continued. He wanted to know more about her, but perhaps her old pack was a bit of a sore spot. He wasn't sure, but he didn't want to push it- the last thing he wanted to do was offend her. "It's always interestin' to hear a different perspective." the wolf mused. Vince might have had a bit of a one-track mind, but he wasn't adverse to seeing the world through different glasses. He needed that, sometimes. To see that there was a different way.

"I can't personally say that I'd ever consider bein' a loner. 'Course, for a while I was after I came here, but I quickly found my purpose with Iblis in Asteraia." Vincent said with a small shrug. "I wouldn't be able to function without some greater goal. Way I've always been, I guess." Asteraia now at the forefront of his mind, he figured that he should probably find his way back at some point, though he resented the very idea of leaving Spirit.
