He has a way of absorbing the culture as he goes, learning language differences and belief systems with relative ease. Everything is relative, of course, and for the group that’s been on the road there really isn’t any other way they could have been. No other way to survive, let alone thrive in this place. That’s what Odin was good at, after all, an optimistic sort of thriving that had a way of settling into the meat and bones of a place like this. Yeah, he tried sometimes, but mostly it was all fun and games for him. The world went around just like that.

His tail wags. There’s nothing he can do to get that to stop, he’s happy to see the… empress, as she calls herself. Another name the star soaked creature commits to memory before he allows his mind to continue to spin. “They call me Odin, generally.” There are other choice words that have befallen him at times, especially from his darling niece, but those aren’t worth exploring. Really, they were all quite rude and in bad taste. He wasn’t tasteless, of course, so he would keep his distance from those words. Yes, yes, that all sounded well and good. Odin wagged his tail, more to himself than anyone else.

“If I may ask, miss Aithne, why did you not simply seek out my people and request my presence if you so badly sought it? I have left my niece in charge, and our numbers are relatively small thus far, but still… the role of an alpha is to guide, and I just… I feel bad.” His tone is light, conversational, burning with a curiosity that seems to drive him much of the time. “I am here to offer you whatever help you’d like, though… anything you need.” Odin needs a job, needs something to do constantly, elsewise he gets… he gets his moods about him. Antsy, anxious, absolutely twitching under the surface with a need to go and a need to do. He can do it all, should she ask.
